  • Strong Technical experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in database design, administration, or maintenance of oracle databases and EBS-ERP databases.
  • Experience in Oracle, EBS, and other applications including Weblogic, Application Server, OID and OAM
  • Expertise in all major versions of technology stack including Database, iAS, Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Java, Enterprise Manager, SOA, WebLogic and JVM. 
  • Hands-on operational expertise as an Oracle DBA, with technologies such as RAC, SSO, DataGuard, High Availability and Backup/Recovery (RMAN).
  • Advanced knowledge in monitoring EBS and Database Instance using Oracle Grid/Cloud Control with AMP and ACMP
  • Fusion Middleware - Advanced understanding of Cloud Applications Foundation, SOA, Business Process Management, Data Integration, Enterprise Performance Management, Identity Management, System Management, Social Business and Collaboration and High Availability aspects of Fusion Middleware
  • Implement best practices for OAM, OID and SSO and can serve as escalation to resolve related issues.
  • EBS Application and Technology Stack - Performed three or more successful upgrades for technology stack and applications

Roles & Responsibilities

    • Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security;
    • monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users;
    • mapping out the conceptual design for a planned database;
    • considering both back-end organisation of data and front-end accessibility for end-users;
    • refining the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model;
    • further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements;
    • installing and testing new versions of the DBMS;
    • maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act;
    • writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata);
    • controlling access permissions and privileges;
    • developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans;
    • ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly;
