    A constable is a person holding a particular office, most commonly in criminal law enforcement. The office of constable can vary significantly in different jurisdictions. A constable is commonly the rank of an officer within the police.

    Firefighters are primarily responsible for responding to fires, accidents and other incidents where risks are posed to life and property.

    Prison wardens manage and oversee the activities of correctional facility staff to ensure safety and security of the facility, as well as the proper treatment of inmates. As administrators, prison wardens establish prison policies and set financial goals for the prison.
