Job Description

The Government of West Bengal, the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 12 Head Master / Head Mistress post vacancies. The candidates who have passed required qualification for Head Master / Head Mistress posting, are eligible to apply for West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) Head Master / Head Mistress Recruitment 2016-17.

Educational qualification for the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) recruitment 2017 must have completed A Second class Master’s degree from a recognized university. A First class Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or its equivalent recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.10 years’ continuous teaching experience in a recognized secondary School/Madrasah. (iii) 10 years’ continuous teaching experience in a recognized secondary School/Madrasah;

(iv)Ability to teach in English and

(v) Good power of expression in English.

Pay scale: .15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- plus Grade Pay of 5, 600/-.

Application Fee:  210/- (Rupees two hundred ten) only + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment)

Articles 315 to 323 in Part XIV [1] of the Constitution of India provides for the establishment of Public Service Commission for the Union and a Public Service Commission for each State. The same set of Articles (i.e., 315 to 323 in Part XIV) of the Constitution also deal with the composition, appointment and removal of members,power and functions and independence of a Public Service Commission. Union Public Service Commission to conduct examinations for recruitment to all India services and higher Central services and to advise the President on disciplinary matters. State Public Service Commission in every state to conduct examinations for recruitment to state services and to advise the governor on disciplinary matters.
