The Government of Chittoor National Atmospheric Research Laboratory has issued a notification for the recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow vacancies.

Educational qualification for National Atmospheric Research Laboratory recruitment 2017 must be Post-Graduate degree in Physics Atmospheric Physics Space Physics with  60% marks or equivalent grade and  qualified in CSIR-UGC NET  GATE  JAM JEST.  The Age limit less than 30yrs in Junior Research Fellow

Roles & Responsibilities

    Produce high quality reports, academic papers and journal articles of a publishable standard based on the analysis of data and literature with a clear and engaging writing style.  Work independently and autonomously on a number of research and policy projects simultaneously, as required.

Company Profile

NARL is an autonomous research laboratory fully funded by the Department of Space, Government of India and involved in carrying out fundamental and applied research in Atmospheric and Space Sciences. It had its humble beginning in 1992 as the National Mesosphere-Stratosphere-Troposphere(MST) Radar Facility. Over the years several complementary techniques such as Rayleigh/Mie lidars, wind profilers have been added. NARL is administered by a Governing Council with Secretary, DOS as the Chairman and Director, NARL as member secretary. The Governing Council sets broad policy guidelines for NARL. A Scientific Advisory Committee consisting of eminent scientists in the field of atmospheric science, monitors the research activities and progress of NARL and provides future directions. Interested candidates can pursue courses in M.Sc., or MS in Physical Sciences, M.Sc. in Physics/ Atmospheric Science / Space Physics / Meteorology or M.Tech in Atmospheric Science / Space Technology, Doctorate (Ph.D) in Physics, or ME /M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/ Space Technology, for a great career at National Atmospheric Research Laboratory
