Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT) are a group of government run public institutes of higher education in the handloom sector. There are six institutes in central sector and four in the State sector. All IIHTs provide a three years Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology. The Varanasi and Salem Campuses also offer a one and half year Post Diploma in Textile Processing.
