Job Description

The Government of West Bengal, the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 3 Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) posts vacancies. The candidates who have passed required qualification for Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) posting, are eligible to apply for Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) posts Recruitment 2016-17.

Educational qualification for the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) recruitment 2017 must have completed in Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University in India and having 3 years of research/teaching experience (duration of PhD to be considered as research experience) in a recognized Institution / University after M.Sc. with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI/NAAS) journals. Desirable: Research experience in taxonomy, systematics, zoology or allied subject supported by publications, field survey experience in nature and wildlife, wildlife photography, knowledge of Computer and basic field data collection and statistical analysis.
