Produce high-quality reports, academic papers and journal articles of a publishable standard based on the
analysis of data and literature with a clear and engaging writing style.
Work independently and autonomously on a number of research and policy projects simultaneously, as required.
Analyse quantitative data using robust methods, preferably using STATA, and interpret, describe and publish
Comprehensively review and analyze academic and grey literature based on methodical and replicable search
strategies.Identify new topics and develop and obtain funding for proposals (including academic, private and public sector
funders) supporting policy-relevant research projects that employ a range of social research methods; assist
other team members in obtaining funding for future projects.Manage external relationships with funders and other stakeholders.
Present papers based on policy and research work to policy-makers, academics and other audiences including
As appropriate, aid in the collection of primary quantitative and qualitative data.
Deploy a proactive approach, as well as a strong and demonstrable interest in ageing issues, to ensure that the

Roles & Responsibilities

The Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU) was formally notified on November 17th, 2000 and was established under the State Act No. 1998 (MAH.XVII of 1998) on December 03rd, 2000 with its headquarter at Nagpur. The University has been carved out of the four Agriculture Universities in the state by transferring five Veterinary Colleges, one Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary & Animal Sciences and one Dairy Technology College. Although the University is in its infancy, the constituent colleges were quite old.
